Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using LocalForge ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
LocalForge provides browser-based file processing tools including PDF compression, image manipulation, and related utilities. All file processing occurs entirely within your web browser — files are never uploaded to our servers.
We offer both free and paid tiers of the Service. Free users are subject to daily usage limits. Paid users ("Pro" or "Team") receive expanded capabilities as described on our pricing page.
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- •Ensuring you have the right to process any files you use with the Service
- •Maintaining the security of your license key (if applicable)
- •Using the Service in compliance with all applicable laws
- •Not attempting to circumvent usage limits or license restrictions
4. Payment and Licenses
Pro and Team Plans
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. You may cancel at any time through your account or by contacting us.
Lifetime Licenses
Lifetime licenses grant permanent access to Pro features at the time of purchase. This does not guarantee access to features added after your purchase date, though we generally include them.
Refunds
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all purchases. Contact sushilvrao74@gmail.com for refund requests.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its code, design, and branding, is owned by LocalForge. Your use of the Service does not grant you ownership of any intellectual property.
Files you process remain entirely yours. Since processing happens in your browser, we never have access to or rights over your content.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:
- •The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- •Processing results will meet your specific requirements
- •The Service will be compatible with all browsers or devices
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocalForge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination of a paid plan, you retain access until the end of your current billing period.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
